When there’s a lot to fix, we fix it in one day
Some patients come to us with one broken tooth. Many come with years of accumulated problems: teeth that hurt, teeth that can’t be saved, gums that need attention, and a mouth they’ve been hiding. This page is for the second group.
Request an AppointmentExtractions
Sometimes a tooth can’t be saved — because of decay, infection, a crack, or crowding. Dr. DeVuyst removes teeth gently and explains what will replace them before anything happens. Wisdom teeth, single teeth, or multiple teeth in one visit.
Full-mouth restoration
Full-mouth restoration means taking everything that’s wrong and building a single plan to make it right: extractions, fillings, crowns, implants, bridges, or implant-supported dentures — whatever combination your mouth needs. Complex plans start with a 3D CT scan taken right here in the office, so Dr. DeVuyst can see exactly what he’s working with before the plan is written. The plan is built at your consultation and written down, so you know the sequence and the cost before anything begins.
Why this is what Private Fridays were made for
Extensive work normally means many appointments over many months — and for an anxious patient, every one of them is a hurdle. On a Private Friday, under oral conscious sedation, with the office closed to everyone else, Dr. DeVuyst can often complete the bulk of a full-mouth plan in one extended visit. Patients arrive relaxed, remember little, and wake up with the hardest part behind them.

After the work is done
Once your mouth is restored, keeping it that way is simple: regular cleanings with Lindsey or Alyssa, and a dentist who already knows your history. Most patients who needed sedation for the big work never need it again.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if a tooth can be saved?
Dr. DeVuyst will tell you honestly at your consultation — and if it can be saved, he’ll say so.
What replaces an extracted tooth?
An implant, a bridge, or an implant-supported denture, depending on the tooth and your goals. We’ll walk through the options.
How much can really be done in one visit?
Often a great deal. The exact scope depends on your health and your plan; we’ll be clear about it before your Friday.
Will I be in pain afterward?
Some soreness is normal. You’ll go home with written instructions and, when needed, a prescription. We check on you.
