The people you’ll see every time
Small on purpose. Most of our team has been here more than a decade, which means the person who greets you at your first visit is the same person who greets you at your fiftieth. For nervous patients, that matters more than almost anything else.
Monica
Chief Operating Officer
Monica has been part of Dentist4Life since the beginning and runs the business side of the practice so the clinical team can focus entirely on patients. If something about your experience isn’t right, she’s the one who fixes it. A Central Michigan University graduate and lifetime member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers, Monica says the best part of the job is “being part of a team where everyone truly cares about each other.” Outside the office she enjoys: nature, her dog Lucky, and time with her husband and two boys.
Lynn
Front Desk Coordinator
Lynn is the first voice you’ll hear and the first face you’ll see. She’s been in dentistry since 1980 and chose the front desk on purpose — she’d rather make someone’s day better on the way in and the way out. If you’re anxious about calling, she’s the person you’ll reach, and she’s heard every version of “I’m embarrassed, it’s been a while.” A Macomb Community College graduate, Lynn follows Detroit sports, loves to cook, and is happiest with her grandchildren.
Jenny
Patient Care Coordinator
Jenny is your personal point of contact from consultation to completion. She started with us in 2012 as a dental assistant, so when she walks you through a treatment plan and its cost, she’s explaining something she’s actually done chairside. After you’ve met Dr. DeVuyst, you’ll sit down with Jenny in her office — a comfortable room away from the treatment area — where she’ll translate anything that sounded clinical, walk through the cost, and build a plan and a payment plan that fit your life. Jenny and her husband have three girls, including twins, and spend every free moment outdoors.
Andrea
CDA — Clinical Operations & Office Coordinator
Andrea has been with Dentist4Life for more than 16 years and assists Dr. DeVuyst on every sedation appointment. She’s the person watching over you on a Private Friday — monitoring, adjusting, and making sure you’re comfortable from the moment you sit down. A nationally Certified Dental Assistant trained at Macomb Community College and Dorsey School, she now also oversees the clinical side of the office. Andrea loves fishing, swimming, stand-up comedy, and singing — you may catch her dancing down the hall.
Holly
Dental Assistant
Holly and Andrea are the pair you’ll see beside Dr. DeVuyst. Holly has spent her whole career in dentistry (more than 25 years) across many kinds of practices, and she’s known here for making appointments feel calm and unhurried. She and her husband have two grown daughters and a Goldendoodle, and she heads up north whenever she can.
Lindsey
Registered Dental Hygienist
Lindsey has been with us more than 15 years and is who many of our sedation patients see once the big work is done and they’re ready for regular visits. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy and is known for explaining things thoroughly and never making anyone feel rushed. Lindsey and her husband have two boys, Ben and Jackson, and a dog named Eugene.
Alyssa
Registered Dental Hygienist
Alyssa holds a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Ferris State University. She’s an educator by nature — patient, encouraging, and focused on helping you keep what you’ve worked hard to fix. Alyssa “loves being part of an office that makes the patient the number-one priority.” She and her husband have a house full of girls, twins included.
Every one of them has sat with a scared patient.
Whoever you meet here, you’ll be met with patience. That’s not a policy — it’s just how this team has worked together for years.
