On Fridays, the office is yours.
Most dental offices fit anxious patients into a schedule built for everyone else. We do the opposite.
Every Friday, Dentist4Life closes to all other patients. We see one — sometimes two — sedation patients that day. The waiting room is empty. The phones are quiet. The only people in the building are Dr. DeVuyst, his assistants, one front-desk team member, and you.
Request an AppointmentWhat a Private Friday looks like
Before your Friday. You’ve already met Dr. DeVuyst and his assistants at your consultation, and you’ve sat down with Jenny in her office to go over the plan, the cost, and your questions. You have your written estimate and your instructions. The night before, you’ll follow the directions you were given for your medication.
Arriving. A trusted adult drives you in. There’s no line, no clipboard, no one else in the room. Our front-desk team member greets you by name and brings you straight back.
Settling in. You’ll already be relaxed from your medication. We get you comfortable — a blanket, a pillow, whatever you need — and Dr. DeVuyst walks you through what’s happening before it happens. Nothing starts until you’re ready.
Treatment. This is the part most patients don’t remember. You’re monitored the entire time. Because the day is yours, Dr. DeVuyst can work steadily without watching the clock — which is why extractions, implants, crowns, and full-mouth work that would normally take many appointments can often be finished in one.
Going home. Your driver takes you home, and you rest for the remainder of the day. We’ll check on you.
Afterward. Most patients describe it the same way: “It felt like fifteen minutes.” Then they’re surprised at how much got done.
Who Private Fridays are for
- The patient who has waited years. Everything that’s been building up, addressed calmly in one day.
- The patient who needs major work. Implants, multiple extractions, full-mouth restoration — done under sedation instead of spread across months.
- The patient who can’t face a waiting room. No strangers, no noise, no feeling watched.
- The patient who is embarrassed. Fewer people, more privacy, zero judgment.
Why we do this
Dr. DeVuyst chose to remain a single-dentist private practice for more than twenty years because he believes every patient deserves unhurried care. Private Fridays are the fullest expression of that: an entire day, an entire team, one patient at a time.
No corporate schedule to keep. No quotas. No one else’s appointment running into yours.
Planning major work? Start with a free implant exam.
If missing teeth or failing teeth are part of what you’ve been avoiding, your consultation can include a complimentary implant exam with Dr. DeVuyst, a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Implants placed under oral sedation on a Private Friday are one of the most common things we do.
Reserve your Friday
Because we see so few patients each Friday, appointments are limited and scheduled after an in-office consultation. The first step is a calm conversation.
